Due to a drop in numbers for our MASTERS tournament, it has been changed to a 48-player tournament.
Please note this involves changes both structurally and financially, see below for details.
Dates: Friday 18th September to Sunday 20th September 2026
Venue: Weoley Castle Working Mens Club, 158 Barnes Hill, Birmingham B29 5TY
Entrants: 48 players MASTERS, 48 players INTERMEDIATES, on a first come first served basis. Players whose names appear on the following list will not be eligible to play as an Intermediate:

Once full, a reserve list will be in operation
This year we will be raising funds in support of a worthwhile charity, The Samaritans
Format:Friday night, Super, Mega Jackpots (four people or more required) alongside the Friday Night Warm-up KO
Saturday day, Swiss-style format for both Masters and Intermediates
MASTERS & INTERMEDIATES
At the end of the fourth round there will be 15 players with 3+ wins, 18 players with 2 wins & 15 players with 1 or 0 wins. A first random draw will decide which 1 from the 18 players with 2 wins will join the Midlands Open 2026 Cup. Then a second draw will decide which 1 from the remaining 17 players will join the Harborne 2026 Cup
Rules: UKBGF tournament rules will be followed
Registration for the event will be deemed as acceptance of these rules. The organisers reserve the right to deny entry to any individual as they see fit.
